The loss of a pregnancy is one of the most painful experiences a woman can go through. Miscarriage is a sad and scary time and any woman dealing with such loss deserves the same care and support as a woman delivering a full term , live pregnancy. The mission of a pregnancy loss doula is to provide the grieving mother with emotional support, information, and whatever other help she may need before, during and and after a pregnancy loss. A pregnancy loss doula also helps the mother’s family and friends understand what she is going through and how best they can help her during her time of loss and grieving.

The primary goal of this doula service is to give local mothers hands-on help and face-to-face support in their time of pain and loss. However, it is my hope that any mother dealing with pregnancy loss, no matter where she lives, will find helpful information and support through this site. Any mother seeking help, local or not, is welcome to contact me- please do. I would also like to mention that all of these service are free of charge. It is my belief that all mothers, regardless of what they can afford, should be able to receive the support they need during the time of a pregnancy loss.
